We were just going through the pictures from the “Obsessed” video shoot and came across something irrelevant but interesting.
The stalker/obsessive persona who changes disguises to follow Mariah Carey is named Michael Caligiuri when “he” plays a bellhop! It probably means nothing, but you never know with Mimi, she might be dropping some sort of hint?

The three-way tussle pitting Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon against Eminem took another turn on Monday when Carey shot a video for her new single “Obsessed” — and dressed up like Em.
Carey filmed scenes for the clip at the Plaza Hotel in New York, where she plays a man in two different costumes: one finds her in a bellhop uniform, while the other has her in a giant grey hoodie, a doo-rag and a thick goatee — apart from the beard, she’s dressed exactly like Eminem (and looks very bizarre).
Carey Tweeted on Tuesday (June 30), “Check out my website to see a photo of the star of my new ‘Obsessed’ video! LYM!!” and Several other pictures from the shoot have emerged.
The video is directed by “Rush Hour” helmer Brett Ratner, who has also worked with Carey on her clips for “Touch My Body” and “Heartbreaker.”
“Obsessed” is the first single from Carey’s upcoming album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, which is set to hit stores on August 25. Though Carey doesn’t mention Eminem’s name specifically, there are a handful of lyrics that suggest that the song is a response to Em’s Relapse track “Bagpipes From Baghdad,” on which he raps about taking Carey back from her husband: “Nick Cannon better back the f— up,” Em warns the actor/musician on the track. “I’m not playing/ I want her back, you punk.” (Carey has denied Eminem’s claims that they dated for six months.)
On “Obsessed,” Carey sings, “Why are you so obsessed with me/ Boy I wanna know/ Lying that you’re sexing me/ When everybody knows/ It’s clear that you’re upset with me … Why are you so obsessed with me? You’re delusional/ Boy, you’re losing your mind … It must be the weed, it must be the E/ ‘Cause you be poppin’, you get it poppin’,” which may be about Slim Shady’s struggle with drugs.
Cannon fired back at Eminem in an angry blog post last month, before the rapper softened his dis in a later interview with the BBC, defusing the tension. After admitting his lyrics were “harsh,” Eminem said of Cannon, “I had no idea he was gonna take it like he took it. … What I actually meant to say is, I wish them the best. That’s what I meant to say. That’s the whole message of the record.”
Singer/songwriter The-Dream confirmed in a previous interview that the song is definitely directed at someone — but the “Dancing on the Moon” singer who, along with producing partner Tricky Stewart, helmed most of Carey’s next project, would not confirm exactly who.

This is not your everyday poseur Eminem wannabe – it’s Mariah Carey, who dressed as the controversial rapper while filming her new video “Obsessed” in New York today.
You may recall that in Eminem’s “Bagpipes From Baghdad” song, he warns Carey’s husband, Nick Cannon, to “back the f— up.”
Eminem has targeted Carey for special abuse in his raps for years, while Carey denies the two ever had a relationship.
Now, Carey has fired back. In “Obsessed,” she doesn’t mention him by name, but asks, “Why are you obsessed with me/lying that you’re sexing me?”
But with this video, it’s time for Eminem and Mariah Carey to call a truce.
It’s great that Mariah seems to be having fun with this whole “Mininem” thing, but we’re afraid of the conflict going any further, because no one wants to see the next step: Eminem in drag.

She’s a man, baby! We knew Mariah had a killer hair and makeup crew — when does she not look flawless? — but extra accolades for turning the curvilicious diva into her nemesis, Eminem, for her upcoming “Obsessed” video. I like Mariah with a sense of humor, and I love the idea of her turning the tables on the king of celebrity-mocking videos. Here’s to hoping Bruno shows up …

Mariah Carey seems intent on hitting back at Eminem with her new single Obsessed.
In photos taken on the set of the video yesterday the singer is shown made up looking very much like the rapper.
MC is shown as a white rapper in a grey hooded tracksuit. And while the goatee she sports reminds MTV of Vanilla Ice or Fred Durst it seems more likely she’s having a dig at Eminem.
Shady has long claimed he had a relationship with Mariah and wrote vitriolic track Bagpipes From Baghdad about her on his recent Relapse album.
The chorus to Obsessed runs “Why are you so obsessed with me/ Boy I wanna know/Lying that you’re sexing me/ When everybody knows/ It’s clear that you’re upset with me.”
The single also references drugs which Eminem has admitted to taking in the past.
The Obsessed video is directed by Hollywood director Brett Ratner.
