20 years to the week after it made its chart debut, Fairytale Of New York is a Christmas evergreen. The Pogues/Kirsty MacColl collaboration makes it into the Top 75 for the seventh December in a row, jumping 112-47 (7,034 sales). Mariah Carey’s 1994 classic All I Want For Christmas Is You isn’t far behind, jumping 100-64 (5,200 sales) to chart for the fifth year in a row, although it faces competition this year from versions by Michael Buble, Glee Cast and Justin Bieber, the last of which features Carey herself as a duettist.

La pareja de cantantes acaba de desvelar cuándo lanzará el video del villancico que para las próximas fiestas han grabado juntos. Será este miércoles, 30 de noviembre, en el centro Rockefeller, junto al árbol de Navidad de la ciudad de Nueva York que para esas fecha ya estará encendido.
Los propios cantantes han sido los encargados de dar a conocer la noticia. “¡Grandes noticias! Mariah Carey y yo estrenaremos mundialmente el video de All I want For Christmas Is You. ¡Quedan cuatro días!”, publicaba Justin Bieber este sábado en su perfil de Twitter.
Lo mismo hizo la cantante de My All quien, tras retuitear a su compañero de canción, colgó una foto de los dos que llegó a los más de cinco millones de seguidores que la artista tiene en la red social.
El tema que comparten Justin Bieber y Mariah Carey es una versión del popular All I Want For Christmas Is You que la cantante lanzó en el año 1994, según recuerda Digital Spy.
Este tema está incluído en el nuevo disco del artista, Under the Mistletoe, que también cuenta con otros villancicos como Drummer Boy, que canta con Busta Rhymes, y The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire), que interpreta con Usher.
