According to the list published by Madison Square Garden Online, Mariah Carey’s performance there in the mid-90s was one of the best of that decade:

The singer pulled out all the vocal stops for her October 10, 1995, Fantasy tour performance, which aired as a TV special the following month. Carey will ring in 2010 with a New Year’s Eve show at The Garden.
