   Side Note: HITS DAILY DOUBLE puts Taylor Swift and Susan Boyle as rivals for the best selling album of 2009 with 2.93M and 2.43M copies sold. Hence, 2009 was not really a good time for album sales.

   Let’s be real, lambs, this is not the video, it is the recording studio! It is her RECORDING with ne-yo! the lights and camera are probably a behind the scenes moment for something special that will come out later.
   u think mariah would look like that for a VIDEO?

   To Dubai, true. The days of a “diamond” album are long one. Still, Taylor Swift sold 3M….Mariah has yet to reach 400K. I still can’t figure that one out. Just not sure where all the fans went that bought E=MC2 (TEOM I realize was just a colossal crossover smash).

   I think going for an R&B track is not a bad idea. It worked for Whitney….Whitney had not top 40 play. I still think R&B is part of Mariah’s core base…and Obsessed peaked at number 12, IWTKWLI at number 40

   It did not work so well with whitney, her record sold more only because it was her comeback record but her singles did not do so well.

   And I believe that mariah should go to making Pop Music Again because R&B is not working for her

    Yes, Jeff, I was referring to R&B. Mariah’s last number 1 on R&B was Don’t Forget About US. TMB peaked at number 2.

    TEOM was a major R&B smash Jeff (yes, WBT and Shake It Off and even DFAU did well at pop). Mine Again charted at R&B, FLAB was a long-standing R&B charting song.

    Whitney’s songs did not chart well on Billboard, but both I Look To You and Million Dollar Bill did great at Urban AC.

    None of us I guess really has an answer. I am an accountant, not in the record business. But success at this point at one “niche” would be fine by me. In general, radio songs help sell albums. I’d like just some format to embrace a Mariah song. Rhythmic is the one format most loyal to Mariah (Obsessed did well there), but it has not embraced any others.

    Neyo has certainly had some radio success…so let’s hope the best for this duet. And I do think the song is a great song…it’s my personal favorite on the album. Just hope the label and Mariah aggressively promote at a target market (in this case, R&B, like Tom Joyner, Steve Harvey, Doug Banks, Big Tigger, Wendy Williams, Keith Sweat, Big Boy). A tour, with “freebie” promos for stations, will certainly help.

    To be honest, my first thought when looking at these pics was “Oh No! WTF is MC gonna be wearing in this video!!” But I thought about it and Im thinking that Neyo was filming his solo part as Mimi was in the process of getting ready. She probably just came out to say hi and take a quick pic before getting ready. MC would definitely not appear in a video like that. Im sure she will look fabolous…. However, I hope this isn’t just a boring video of them singing in a studio. This song is too good to have a generic, unthought out video. I guess we will just have to see……

    this website is full of crap!! It’s my first visit here but sadly by reading comments, its not my type to be here. I noticed that people here are those fans of Mariah that dont have class. Those kinds that are full of speculations and meaningless comments. Ewww! I hope that there are only about 25 fans here that are low-class! I guess Mariah’s fans usually belongs to the upper or high class in society like those young and old professionals in NYC and this make up the majority of her fans not like the people here. Sorry!!! That’s all.
