Mariah Carey has fuelled speculation she is pregnant with her first child – saying “something special” is about to happen.

The singer, 39, talking of her next career move, said: “I’m talking to a director about three movies.”

But Mariah, married to singer Nick Cannon and rumored to be adopting an orphan, said: “There’s also something special on the way. I can’t say anymore.”
