What would be a good Mariah Carey wedding song? Juicy Lucy from Scotland
Hi Juicy Lucy,
I’m guessing that you want Mariah for your first dance? There are several songs that would be suitable for this but it’s very important to have a song that has a connection to both of you as a couple and would be dependent on if you want something classic and slow or something more upbeat. I love slow songs but as a couple we are the kind of people that wouldn’t slow dance so have chosen something more fun and upbeat for our first dance.
Here are a few suggestions:
* Whenever you call – version with Brian McKnight for a male /female point of view
* Underneath the stars
* Always be my baby
* Lovin’ You Long Time
* Everytime I Close My Eyes – Babyface with Mariah on backing vocals
Good luck with you day!

Dear Agent Dee, I am planning a Mariah themed party, what songs & activities would you recommend? Adrian from the UK
Hello There Adrian,
I am so excited that you are having a Mariah themed Party! That is so festive I can’t contain myself. I mean I’m not even invited and I’m already planning what to wear. :p Joking aside, this is a great idea. Mariah not only has great party anthems but she also has great remixes to her songs.
There are so many Mariah songs that will make this party go off! I know you’re already thinking “Migrate” as a party track. I highly recommend it to start off the party. Honey (Classic Remix) is also another party number. It’s a remix of the original (that also comes in Bad Boy Remixed format) that will send all the lambs bumping into a dance frenzy and that’s the situation I’m talkin’ about. Sweetheart is a sexy track that will keep all you lambs on the dance floor along with the feisty Obsessed. Another track to keep the party spirit burning is “Fantasy.” It’s festive, summery upbeat and comes in a range of remixes leading onto my personal favourite Mariah party anthem; Fantasty (Def Club Mix). This track is a blend of sultry and sexy latin Mariah, combined with beats so insane it’ll keep the neighbours ears guessing for sure.
I hope you have a fabulous party Adrian. Please do take as many pictures as you can to show and tell. Remember dahhlings have fun, stay out of trouble and sip that grigio slow.
LYM!
Agent Dee xoxo

I am having trouble getting my fiancee to agree to have some sort of Mariah stuff at our wedding… can you suggest some compromises I can make without making the wedding all about Mariah? – Jessie in trouble in Rhode Island
Hi Jessie,
Firstly congratulations on your upcoming wedding, it’s such an exciting time and I found the preparation part of my wedding the most fun, tearing pages from magazines and dreaming of what the day would be like. I think the most important thing to remember you have already mentioned in your question, Compromise. It’s such an important day for you both, if your fiancé doesn’t have the attachment to Mariah that you do it wouldn’t be fair to insist on having everything “Mariahised” but I have some ideas for you that should hopefully get a touch of MC incorporated for you.
Table names – instead of using table numbers, name the tables after your favourite songs, take half the tables each and yours could be Mariah tracks. As a suggestion ‘One Sweet Day,’ ‘Dreamlover,’ ‘Lovin’ You Long Time,’ ‘Always Be My Baby’. Might be best to stay away from Clown, Side Affects lol!
Whilst having your meal you could play instrumental versions of songs, the music is so beautiful and it’s in the background so won’t be overpowering. You could also have your first dance to a Mariah song or get a few of your favourites played by the DJ during the night.
If you wanted a more subtle way of getting a hint of Mariah in the day I would opt for the international sign of a lamb – Butterflies! These are so easy to incorporate into the day that if done tastefully you can have them everywhere! Invitations, flower arrangements, cakes, hair clips, shoes, the list is endless, and you could even treat yourself to some of the lovely jewellery M has shown on HSN. Take a look at the ones I’ve found online.
* Invitations – HelloLucky.com
* Hanging guest cards instead of a guestbook – Available at craft stores
* Your local florist can create something like this for you using more goods from craft stores
Your baker can add butterflies to the cake in all sorts of ways:
You could also consider butterfly cupcake wrappers:

* Headband – http://www.glitzysecrets.com
* Heels – You could re-use Mariah Carey’s HSN shoe clips after the big day
Have a wonderful wedding!
