Can you suggest how I can Mariah-ise my wardrobe? Sheena from Kenya

Hi Sheena,There are a few routes you could take with this, you could copy looks Mariah has gone for in the past using high street stores.

Whether it is a casual look you want to achieve or more formal, there are many looks that could be easily duplicated.A more economical idea might be to buy a nice pair of high heels or channel Mariah by adding butterfly jewellery to your wardrobe, a couple of stack rings, an arm full of bangles or a diamanté belt with jeans.

I once heard a quote that said when you are ready to go out, look in the mirror and remove the last accessory you put on but I don’t think that is always right because Mariah is THE queen of accessorising! If it’s at the beach or a little black dress, the right accessories complete an outfit.

I think the most important thing you could take from Mariah would be to wear what feels comfortable to you and feel confident from the inside as it will show on the outside. In the words of MC “You really have to look inside yourself and find your own inner strength, and say, “I’m proud of what I am and who I am, and I’m just going to be myself.”
