Music Week is WRONG and needs to be corrected. I Want To Know What Love Is was #19 on UK single chart, so it is her last highest charting hit since 2009. Someone needs to contact them to edit their mistake.

To be fair, I thought this was a pretty good debut considering the lack of promotion. I know she debuted the video on American Idol but that’s nothing compared to the amount of promotion she’s given previous singles. In addition to that, the song was released the day is premiered so that’s bound to affect sales somewhat. I’m more impressed with it’s debut on UK charts though! Soo happy it’s actually charted over here so soon

Thanks – This makes a lot more sense than anything I’ve read in the last few days. On my part I bought the single and gifted it to a few friends. I also keep streaming the video on YouTube as I work from home.

It’d be great if Beautiful became a big hit like Obsessed and then Mariah slays us with the second single! Can’t wait for more details on the ALBUM!

I seriously doubt Mariah or her team expected the song to debut at No.1! There was never any indication that it would. Saying that though, a lot of people & fans were hoping it would go Top 20, the sales were great, airplay good… it’s a shame the streaming data is so poor.

I doubt Mariah’s team or Island Def Jam are concerned, they haven’t even bothered to fix the official video & audio retail links on YouTube for #beautiful… go figure!

My opinion is that the next seven days will determine whether the song will rise, if airplay continues to rise, then I personally believe it has a chance of going Top 10 & the potential of becoming a big hit like “Obsessed” …
