She’s a canny one, that Mariah Carey- sing a song about a family member dying and it makes it impossible for even the most hard-hearted of reviewers to pan it.

Fotunately for all concerned, Mimi has nailed this track.

Emotional without descending into over-sentimentality, this is a delicate ballad, tinged with nostalgia that’s more likely to put a thoughtful smile on your face than make you sob.
