Mariah gets full points for being able to laugh at herself. In this album, she explores the funnier side of her personality. She comes up with jokes on her own high-pitched signature vocals in More Than Just Friends and about kicking her boyfriend out on national television if he ever cheats on her in Up Out My Face (like in the Oprah Winfrey segment) in Betcha Gonna Know.
Even if you are not the hugest fan of Carey (just like me!) you will agree that it’s her most coherent album till date. Composed by R&B songwriters Terius Nash and Christopher Stewart, the album doesn’t disappoint if you don’t expect too much out of it.

It’s always nice to hear good reviews from someone who admits to “not being the hugest fan” of Mariah!

I don’t think that the people who slam her even listen to the album. But again, it’s a good review and unabashedly honest.

Ouch, its a good album if you dont expect too much. Thats a last little jab. LOL
