Kerry Katona column: What a catfight
Tue, Oct 9, 2012
Kerry Katona thought Nicki Minaj’s behaviour was unacceptable.
She says: Now I love a catfight, but the one between American Idol judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj takes it to another level!
After a foul-mouthed attack, apparently Nicki boasted: ‘If I had a gun then I would shoot her.’
That is just not acceptable – she’s supposed to be a role model who lots of teenagers look up to!
It’s a disgrace and uncalled for, especially on a top TV show.
I met Mariah when she did a duet with my ex Brian McFadden and I thought she was lovely.
I went into her dressing room for a chat and it was hilarious – it was lit with special lighting and there were flowers everywhere!
A lot of Americans seem to lose sight of who they really are because the people around them worship them so much.
I know Nicki’s up there with the true divas but please, is there any need for threatening to shoot someone over opinions on a television show?!
