I am not so sure Diego, I wonder the lack of increases in the past week or so are due to Thanksgiving and Xmas as older traditional tracks get more radio space and airplay?

If all this is true,
I don’t think she is allowed to use the album unless she buys it out of something. So if she does that she could carry on with memoirs.
I really hopes she leaves tht pile of trash behind and sets up her own label

In a way im happy coz its a sign shes leaving IDJ.
They put all their effort in a special edition and the actual album sales does mediocre. And then they shelve it.
Thats promotion at its best, she has the best managment!!!!!

Both the remix album shelve rumor and her leaving IDJ are completely FALSE.
Nick made it clear she will continue with Island Def Jam and the Remix album is coming soon.

Just a thought —
All I Want For XMAS Is You is starting to climb quickly at amazon and itunes. If they release the video for HATEU as soon as possible, maybe she’ll do well with the single since she’s getting downloads and she’ll be fresh in peoples minds.

We all thought that Leona Lewis’ album would do very well
Only managed to get to #13 on Billboard 200 charts.

Thanks for the info Sandra. As for IDJ, I wish they would release HATEU Video this upcoming week. And since she’s playing at MSG on New Years Eve (can’t wait to see her), they should televise her singing HATEU and Up Out My Face and/or Standing O (which will hopefully be next in line). Televise it to the million people standing in Times Square and the additional millions who watch from TV. That’s how you get SALES all you dumbos at IDJ.

Marc, I know. It’s bad. I would never have dreamt the album would drop as rapidly as Glitter. There is virtually no buzz at all around this album. 4.8M impressions is not going to help sell the album. A song needs 50M of impressions to impact record sales of any consequence. No videos playing on any station. Mariah was great on Larry King…but his viewers are not exactly major record buyers.
Let’s just hope the album can at least linger in the lower tier of the billboard. I’m just hoping for a modest airplay song (something that equals IWTKWLI).
Album will undersell Glitter…never dreamt that could happen. Let’s keep at it lambs, but Marc is being realistic. From a commercial perspective, this was a big disappointment. It is in the same league as Glitter. And I’m sure Memoirs will be ignored from all the awards….E=MC was, and it fared much better.

Im still glad Mariah put out this amazing album. She will not leave IDJ and the remix album will be released early next year with a smoking hot single. It will be the turn around of Memoirs. Just watch!
