nice spin increase….
mariah got snubbed again at the grammys..no nominations not even for obsessed!
and yes the video needs to come out, i think they enjoy torturing us with anticipation lolz

If they would just release the video, maybe the non lambs but fans would request. I would love for this song to become a slow grower like Obsessed did b/c MC said it’s her favorite song on the album. I’ve posted this before, but, I really think they should televise a couple of songs in Times Square (NYC) for her concert on NYE. She should sing HATEU along with UOMF and/or Standing O and Angels Cry. Barbara Streisand televised 1 song for her concert and she got SALES. Hello IDJ — Market your Superstar! This album is too good to be lost in the shuffle by artists who can’t even sing.

Ok so i thought Obsessed wouldnt get nominated due to auto tune on Mariahs vocals and how the Grammys would snub any auto tune song in favour of more AC songs that normally rule the grammys.. then i read how BEP & GaGa etc have been nominated numerous times so that threw my theory out the window.. even ‘Blame It’ got nominated a few times so its official.. the Grammys hate Mariah.. i just dont see how as she is such an amazing singer, songwriter, producer etc she deserved so much more credit! Would love to know why this continues every year..
December 3rd, 2009 at 8:39 am
wtf? it hasn’t even broken 5mil impressions yet??? that is bad
but i love the song, and they prob haven’t released the vid cos its prob not good, yall seen that iwkwli vid and how long it took them to release it, they swept that under the carpet really fast lmao!
nothing new about the Grammy situation, I just hope we can get more performances of Hateu in the states, and IWKWLI outside the USA since its doing well in other countries.
normally i’m not the one to push for the next single so fast, but looks like thats whats gonna happen, the remixes def need to get spinning to help with airplay.
December 3rd, 2009 at 8:42 am
who needs the fuckin grammys…mariah doesnt need the satisfaction of a stupid trophy to prove anything..SHES THE BEST SELLING FEMALE ARTIST OF ALL TIME for heavens sake!!
BTW has anybody downloaded hate u on itunes yet?? cuz it’ll definitely help on the charts..it went up 3 spots on the R&B/hip hop chart.
I also think that the MSG performances are a GREAT idea, everybody is going to be watching and that is the best time to perform not only h.a.t.e.u but future singles and the remixes!!
December 3rd, 2009 at 8:53 am
no, the hateu video cant be any worse than the IWKWLI video lmao…but when the video does get released then we’ll see how it is…..hey maybe it’ll be her best video EVER! xp
December 3rd, 2009 at 8:54 am
Maybe they are delaying the video to release it around the time that the remix album is coming out for promo (which is a BAD idea IMO).
December 3rd, 2009 at 8:59 am
I really love HATEU but they are doing everything wrong… where is the video—
mmm and was the remix of hateu release?
This is stupid… what are they doing…?
December 3rd, 2009 at 9:17 am
I think we should all twitted mariah and her company like we did on the previous single and tell her. That she needs to do more promo it’s a shame that hateu one of the best song mc has done it’s not doing well c’mon we can do this if we want request this song hateu deserves to be one of mc #1 more than any other mc song!!!
December 3rd, 2009 at 9:20 am
Yes actually I do really like H.A.T.E.U too!
It’s a shame to not even see it chart. It should at least make a top forty entry! BWAH! It is so much better than the stoopid songs ruling the charts the entire summer (READ: BEP!)!!!

I’m not that bothered about the album’s disappointing performance anymore because, although at first I thought that people just aren’t feeling Mariah anymore, I now realize that it’s not just her but pretty much all established big name acts that are failing to do well, for instance if you look at Usher, who was a gigantic success a few years ago, and now his new lead single is barely making it in the charts. Also Alicia Keys’s lead single from her upcoming album didn’t make it past 60 on the Hot 100. Rihanna’s lead single barely made it into the top 10, and her new album debuted at number 4 with like 180,000 sales, barely higher than Mariah’s first week sales, and she’s supposed to be one of the hottest acts right now (must’ve been a big bite in the ass for IDJ). And then there’s Leona Lewis who debuted at 13 with barely 80,000, when not even a year ago she was no.1, and she’s still one of the fresh players out there. So when you consider all this, hasn’t exactly done that bad, especially considering her last album was just a year ago. Oh and there’s also Whitney who’s singles didn’t make it in the top 50 and who after 7 years of being away hasn’t even sold a million in the states (and she didn’t get one Grammy nomination). It’s just not the time for real talent anymore.

The video is finished but they didn’t released yet.. why=?
I mean to mariahisonfire2 bret RATNER wrote in its twitter “Lol brett send me this:the video is coming anyday. I’m not the record company I can’t control release dates for videos.”
@NickCannon I believe that MC need to get her ass of def jam and stop working with dream and release the damn H.A.T.E U video . Thats it!!!!
December 3rd, 2009 at 9:43 am
mariah go back to columbia records!!! leave island def jam
December 3rd, 2009 at 9:55 am
IDJ (A.REID) PICKS THE MOST STUPID SINGLES!!!
I MEAN IWTKWLI SHOUL NEVER HAVE BEEN RELEASED
AND AFTER HATEU IM PUTTING MY MONEY ON LANGUISHING BEING SINGLE NO.4
BUT, THIS IS NOW, AND ALL WE CAN DO IS HELP HATEU AND GET MARIAH HER 19TH NO1. AND THEN IF SHE GETS IT SHE CAN THEN LEAVE ISLAND.D.J
PLZ KEEP REQUESTING AND DONT GIVE UP ON H.A.T.E.U COZ RITE NOW MARIAH NEEDS US!
December 3rd, 2009 at 10:03 am
At this point I don’t see a single no.4, if HATEU doesn’t make it then I doubt they’d invest in a fourth single an that anyone would pay attention to it after two consecutive flops, even if it is Up Out My Face or Standing O..
December 3rd, 2009 at 10:16 am
I think HATEU will be the last single for the Memoirs but I think they will release a new hot single next year to support the re-release.
Im really pissed off with the way IDJ is handling the promo. What are they waiting for? Release the video now!!!!
December 3rd, 2009 at 10:32 am
Guys its so sad to see Memoirs slipping off from the charts so rapidly. From #95 last week its #142 this week. I just hope that it wont drop off from Hot 200 before its re-release.
December 3rd, 2009 at 10:36 am
It’ll be gone from the BB200 this next week or so unfortunately.
December 3rd, 2009 at 10:37 am
IDJ GOT PROMO WRONG SO BAD IT SEEMS THEY WANT MEMOIRS TO DO BAD!
AND THE SINGLE CHOICES ARE UTTER CRAP, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING RELEASING WHAT LOVE IS IN THE US?
THIS IS WHAT THE SINGLE PLAN SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN IMO
1)Betcha Gon Know
2)Obsessed
3)Up out my Face(US release)/IWTKWLI(Internationl release)
4)Angels Cry
5)More than just friends
6)Standing o (US release)/Ribbon (International release)
7)Inseperable
8)HATEU/HATEU jump smokers mix/Hateu JD mix (EP)
9)Its a warp ft beyonce
10)100%
Call me daft but i feel with this plan mariah could hve got about 6/7 us no1#s, seriously the songs are that gd
, they just need the right PROMO!!!!!!
Also leave the dream for Rihanna and bring back the gd old days with Walter, Plz!
December 3rd, 2009 at 11:13 am
Whitney’s album has been certified platinum by the RIAA on Dec. 1,I feel sad for Memoirs being mishandled by crap people. If only I could do something.
December 3rd, 2009 at 11:37 am
It will be very interesting to see how they will promote the remix album. It just seems like IDJ has just dropped the ball on Mariah’s last two albums. Side Effects and Migrate should have been released right after TMB. There was so much momentum then. Now, after the success of Obsessed, Standing O or UOMF should have been released. Radio love catchy songs. I love HATE U but if there is no video or more promotion for it, it’s going to flop. Not sure what IDJ/Mariah has up their sleeve for the remix album. I will support because that’s my girl !!!!!
December 3rd, 2009 at 1:23 pm
It would be a good idea to include 4 or 5 hot new songs with the remix album to get more interest. The next single should be one of those new songs that people haven’t heard. That would be an excellent way for IDJ to redeem itself.
December 3rd, 2009 at 1:32 pm
Mark.s, your post is the stupidest thing I’ve read in years…seriously “it’s a wrap (ft. beyonce)?
December 3rd, 2009 at 2:23 pm
They have to include/release the real ‘Skydiving’ cut that song is a jam and would explode on radio!! Im rooting for that as a next release unless she brings out some hot new tunes on the remix album!!
December 3rd, 2009 at 3:22 pm
B Rad, I think that’s exactly what they are going to do. The remix album with a really hot new take off single will be the last card for Memoirs. They must handle it correctly this time. I pray!
December 3rd, 2009 at 3:31 pm
Mariah Male Fan,
It must be handled JUST RIGHT for this to work. This is almost like a second chance that they are getting. I think it can work though with strategic marketing, a HOT lead single, good videos/performances, and alot of promo. Please don’t blow it!!
December 3rd, 2009 at 4:12 pm
Unfortunately, we have to prepare ourselves for Memoirs to be listed on critics’ lists of albums which failed to ignite in 2009. They will be dancing a jig reporting her failure.
December 3rd, 2009 at 9:08 pm
I don’t care what the critics or the haters will say about Memoirs. It’s really a good album for us. The lambs. I really think IDJ is going to put a last ditch all out promo blitz with the remix album. I hope so. If not, we can be proud of Mariah and her accomplishments this year of being an intricle part of a great movie, and getting her 27th top ten hit. She is a legend. I really do wish IDJ does the right thing with teh remix album. Gnight !
