    nice…

I didn’t like the video… what happened with the scenes where she is the street or in NY … ID like to know

I don’t know if that video is gonna help

  3. Jess Says:

Well, forget the video helping with spins for HATEU! I am SO disappointed in Brett Ratner. “I can’t even know what to say”. HATEU makes the Obsessed video look great now! Why is she only at the beach? There should have been other scenes and more stuff going on. It is so one dimensional. There should have been a guy and she could have been thinking back. It should have a little story like WBT or Don’t forget about us. This song is so beautiful and I had such high hopes for the video. I want to cry. It could have been a classic video. SMH. The only part that is good is the end night shot. It would have suited the song more to shoot the entire video at night since this is a sad love song.

And Mariah, you are so beautiful, don’t wear those huge false lashes! You don’t need them and they make your eyes look smaller.

  4. Egypt Says:

    I can’t believe what I just saw!!
The vid could’ve been waaaaaay better :((( WHY WHYYYYY!!!!!

  5. Rick Says:

The video is embarassing and a huge slap in the face for every lamb in the land. I tried to blame Mariah’s team instead of her for some of the poor choices made during the Memoirs era. But there is no excuse for this. Anyone in thieir right mind should have refused to put out such a weak project — but Mariah let it happen. I just don’t know what to think.

  6. indi Says:

VERY DISAPPOINTED. This album and era are officially over. Done! Lambs, let’s hope for another comeback in the new decade ahead.

  7. A.L.T. Says:

I’m telling ya… its like the lambs are on an MTV Punk’d episode. It’s all one big joke, almost like a bad dream, and we will wake up on Jan 1 2010 and it’ll all be over and things will go back like they use to … but I don’t know when exactly “what they use to” is? Is it e=mc2 era, cause that one wasn’t so hot… is it “TEOM” era? But you should only “emancipate” once, right? … and if you go beyond that, then hopefully its a skip to Butterfly… I don’t know… I just don’t know.

Mariah needs a major re-invention as an artist and fast … otherwise, I don’t knwo what to say. She’s done it before, and I hope she can pull it off again. When I think of “re-invention” eras, I definitely feel like Daydream was a notch towards remolding herself… Of course, Butterfly where she really brought the sex appeal with the amazing HONEY video … then she unfortunately took the “sexy” a little too far in 99-early 00s… Luckily, she was really able to re-invent herself in 2005 with her urban side. So she’s had, reinvention wise: early/mid 90s: beginning of the collabs and hiphop influence…mid/late 90s: fresh look, sex symbol, and musical reinvention … mid 2000s: TEOM era.

These days, it doesn’t even seem like MC even has the controversies of early 2000s to keep her in the spot light. Its like she’s numb. Her interviews are weak, her performances, especially during e=mc2 era were her frozen on stage for both slow and fast tempo songs… almost like an artist say, “Ugh, do I really need to be here on this stage?” I really JUST don’t get it!

A great new reinvention is highly needed if she plans on staying in the game…especially at the top of the game. AND, unfortunately, she’s going to need REALLY good music…NEW music… NEW image … otherwise, she’ll have to have some controversy or something to keep her in the spotlight lol… I can’t even find her song after all these weeks on top 40 stations’ website to request it. :/

Whatever… I’m blabbing on and on. Maybe I’ll feel better tomorrow and have better things to say lolol.

  8. klos Says:

I’m so sad.. bret ratner really made the worst video for MARIAH… She is just at the beach… singing and that’s all… and they made the song just 3:12 when it was 4:27……………aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa this is another wrong desicion…

if paparatzi by lady gaga was more than 5 minutes and TV PUT THE VIDEO And radio play the song… why did they do that…?

and the best photos I saw they didn’t put in on the video (when she is wearing a jacket and a short dress)

    I’m so sad… and mad… :(

  9. B Rad Says:

I haven’t seen the video but I haven’t heard anything good about it….. MC needs a much better team around her if she hopes to generate any form of success going forward. She needs new people with fresh ideas. During the TEOM period, MC had a new manager, publicist, stylist, and creative director. Everything was top notched, performances felt fresh, videos were creative, style was on point. Unfortunately, NONE of those people are with her anymore and she’s back to where she was before TEOM. A major overhaul must happen soon for our girl. I don’t think there’s anyone in her camp that will pull her aside and just be real with her. However, I would think that the album sales would speak for themselves.

  10. Ben Says:

Yet another video with just one goal: showing off the body just like the I’ll Be Loving You Long Time video, the Touch My Body video, even the Bye Bye video, to name a few. This is getting a bit embarrasing, i doubt is this will do any good. Is this all there is after waiting for all those weeks?

  11. ryan Says:

on the plus side. mariah doesnt look as bad as i thought she wud in d video frm d pics! dat said, it is a lame video.but she will make a comeback. i just dnt know wen.

  12. A.L.T. Says:

Here, I thought of a concept (only top 30 sec too lol) for a video, and she would ALMOST be able to keep the same outfits lol…

She could have been with a guy at first, being all cute and maybe packing for a trip … unfortunately, they have a fit or whatever but she still gets on the plane … she see’s his image on the plane next her in the seat, but in reality she’s all alone … they get to this amazing hotel by the ocean … she checks in to her suite and see’s his image again … but he’s not there … she gets dressed for dinner, and an image of him appears as he puts on her diamond necklace… then he disspears again … she sits alone in a beautiful dress on a table for two right off the shore… she wakes up in the morning and puts on her bathing suit… the image of the guy returns as they walk out to the beach together, but then she’s left alone … then she does her ’show off her body’ thing … whatever … there should have been a bit of a story line.

I mean, same thing with IWTKWLI … maybe done something along the lines of prince of eygpt where she ended the song on a stage, looking very ‘DIVA’ or something.

These things, videos/marketing, are part of the seeing… and I can assure you that if the video for this song was hot, it would have probably helped the song… who know’s, maybe teh bad publicity the song is getting will actually launch some radio play. Thx to posting on Perez Hilton, the song may actually be getting people to listen to it, unfortuntately, for the first time… even if its bad press, atleast it allows for the song to get heard by people. Don’t know, just a bit of an opinion from someone who still has high hopes for this song…MAYBE this album … but its really hard to see anything big coming from this.

  13. mck Says:

touch my body and obsessed are two of her best videos y is every1 saying there bad. the promotion and work mariah has done is so much, shes really worked hard, but what the management is meant to do has been very poor. no billboard advertisements or bus stop or magazine adverts nothin along them lines and ive seen the tv ad once. they are ruinin this album. BUT mariah is clearly happy in life right now and i am loving her and her music as always so i just listen to this amazin album we have been blessed with and am happy

  14. Jeff Says:

we are grateful, but take this into consideration what will mariah be remembered for in the 2000’s? Besides TMB and Obsessed and TEOM videos all her videos from 2008 and on have been an embarrassment, This Video could had been Sooo much better and be and epic video, something like Leona Lewis happy Video could had been nice, a video with a strong storyline, All she does in this video is prance around in a bikini.
I still love Mariah but i hope that the remix LP will be handled better.

  15. Juan_Antonio Says:

So, one question: are you all whine people Mariah fans because of her success in the music industry or her inmense talent? It seems like some of you are expecting Mariah to sell millions or in the top spots everytime with every single like if any of you would gain anything! Enjoy the music, her legacy, talent, and if you’re so worried about her figures SUPPORT HER!. Buy MOAIA to some friends as christmas gift, stream her videos, point out the positive things in her work even as you don’t like it. This video is not going to be on Mariah’s best videos, but it’s far from being the worst. She looks beautiful and the whole video and setting fits the song perfectly, IMO.

  16. Jeff Says:

we all love Mariah because of her talenr legacy and her songs but when an artist like Mariah goes from selling millions to a mere thousand of copies then there’s a problem. We all want Mariah to succeed and its not her fault her label is a fault for not backing up Mariah 100 percent on this project. Also The Media just loves to take this in and see Mariah fail, and one day i hope she shuts them up.
As for the video is crappy and cheap and im disapointed because the video takes such a great song and turns it into something else .

  17. Dubai Says:

The video is simple and yet so emotional. The shots are wonderful speciall the last seconds at night time & Mariah looks hot!!!!!!!!!!! Not that bad at all IMO.

  18. MARIAH MALE FAN Says:

MOAIA has done positive things on MC’s career and lets be thankful about that. “Obsessed” became #1 on radios and became Mariah’s 27th top 10 hit and her 12th platinum selling single more than any other female artist. No artist in her age could still sell on downloads as she does not even Whitney. WHo are her competitors now, younger artist right? and yet she can still put up a fight. Lets dwell on the positive side of this album and forget the negative things and look forward for a better one.

  19. Beth Says:

We expect the best from Mariah because we know she has the potential to surpass others in all areas. Now, when we are all out there trying our hardest to support her and help her songs do well by taking time out of our day to call radio stations and she isn’t giving 100 percent for the record, then we have a problem.

And too, I’m just going to say this once so read carefully:

If we don’t like the lack of promotion, uncreative videos, stiff performances etc etc, we are going to say so and tell it like it is. We are not going to lie and pretend to love something when we don’t. True lambs keep it real. We aren’t “yes men”. We aren’t going to be fake and pretend everything is great if in reality it isn’t.
