*Considering that no new singles out, no promotion at all, it is still doing great and has been increasing in sales.

Wow! MOAIA re-enters the top 100?! That’s kinda amazing. This has gotta be the most bizarre era of all. Hahaha. Maybe the album grows on people?

Wow, never thought in a million years that MC fans would go crazy excited b/c she’s at #90 and song hits #161 lol. I mean, I don’t wanna sound cynical but it doesn’t really mean anything. It’s not like it was a strategic marketing effort, or a MAJOR increase in spins or record sales … could just be that the other 60 albums that she jumped weren’t really hot to begin with … who knows… but I definitely wouldn’t be praising or meriting anyone for their hard work and dedication on this week’s increase.
Also … the remix album … um, the one that is being released “soon” … Why not just give a date? For goodness sakes its simply a remix album that was worked on eons ago. Give us an approximate month (?) year (?) … It always changes anyway, so I guess it would just allow the tabloids to continue using it against her. Either way, I’ll believe when I see it.

Well, at least it is not falling off the charts. And more importantly the album saw an 87% increase in sales. That’s good considering most of Mariah’s albums would usually follow a downward trajectory after its release. She sold abt 7,300 this wk!
MOAIA has spent 28 weeks (and counting) on the charts! That’s actually not too bad if you compare its chart life with the other albums that she has released in this past decade. It’s already lasted longer than E=MC2 and Charmbracelet in fact!
Musicbox – 128wks
Mariah Carey – 113wks
Daydream – 81wks
TEOM – 72wks
#1s – 62wks
MTV Unplugged – 57wks
Butterfly – 55wks
Emotions – 54wks
Rainbow – 35wks
MOAIA – 28wks (and counting!)
E=MC2 – 27wks
Charmbracelet – 22wks
Merry Christmas – 21wks
Glitter – 12wks
Greatest Hits – 11wks
The Ballads – 9wks
The Remixes – 5wks
Time to celebrate! Let’s hope that more people will come into contact with the album and perhaps purchase it!

I must agree with Obsessed fan, MOAIA still doing this good and still manages to sustain sales is a reason to celebrate as a fan.
Thanks for those charts, I never knew them exactly until today.

yeah… I know they’re not great news… but in this situation they’re good news.. no promo… and the album is still in a good position on BIlllboard… and singles are still there… Actually I saw the video UOMF on MTV HITS… More that I saw OBSESSED.. And they put the complete version…
