Hopefully Mercury Records will use this extra time to start promoting the release in the UK!

Why does this not surprise me?
September 16th, 2009 at 9:47 am
I think MC is headed to the UK to promote perhaps.
September 16th, 2009 at 9:48 am
I hope so because if they don’t promote it it’s not going to succeed here like the last album! which was a dam shame!!

im sure dis is so dey can fit in d promo so dnt think its a bad sign.hopefully MC will b in d U.K soon

Yeah it is only pushed back so she can get over and do promo. Whitneys album isn’t out in the UK for another month but its out here in Ireland. So hopefully MOAIA will still be out here next friday week.

I seriously doubt the push back is anything to do with promo reasons… you are talking about a UK label that doesn’t list Mariah Carey as an artist on any of their websites!!!
September 16th, 2009 at 11:15 am
That’s true! she used to always be on the radio 1 play list and she’s not any more! Hasn’t been since Touch my body! boo xx
September 16th, 2009 at 11:34 am
ohh for fucks sakes
September 16th, 2009 at 12:18 pm
Wouldn’t they just release the damn thing!!!

Think this is a good sign as everyone is raving about Obsessed even people who are not so much fans of MC and the remix has been doing v well on itunes even though it was just from a mixtape so the actual version will sell good prob giving her another top 10!
Plus more time = more promo..
She always does good promo in England so as much as i want the album im glad there pulling a smart move here!
Bring on the MC promo!

Hope you are right BC, because this time round it feels like they don’t care about the UK release…
September 16th, 2009 at 1:36 pm
Mariah always cares about the UK!! She’ll be over hopefully on shows like Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr etc… not forgetting x factor hopefully. Gutted bout the album being pushed back but I’m sure very good things come to those who wait ;D

Of course Mariah cares about her UK lambs, but Universal and Island Records do not a simple fact. How many times and ways have they proved it? They’re happy enough to take our money, but treat us like DIRT. I’m so sick of it.

Totally agree with Emancipatedlamb… how is it all the other acts on Mercury & IDJ are listed on their respective UK sites but Mariah isn’t? Also they never update any news on Mariah’s stuff on their sites; while they do it for all their other acts???

I’m such an evil lamb right now! I want to shout at IDJ! haha xx

I’m just waiting for them to push it back here in the US now.

If they push it back any more I don’t know what I’ll do!
