Mariah Carey is mentioned a couple of times on Billboard.Com:
Lady Gaga
In a little more than a year, Lady Gaga matched a record that Mariah Carey needed 14 years to achieve.
With a 2-1 rise for “Telephone,” Lady Gaga – and the track’s featured artist, Beyonce – tied the mark for most No. 1s since Billboard’s Nielsen BDS-based Pop Songs radio airplay chart launched in 1992. The pair joined Carey, who tallied six toppers between 1993 and 2005. Rihanna has since joined the trio with a resume of six Pop Songs No. 1s.
Enrique Iglesias
With a 2-1 lift on Dance/Club Play Songs for “I Like It,” Iglesias collects his seventh No. 1 on the chart, equaling Michael Jackson and Prince for most leaders among male artists in the list’s history.
Prince notched his seven No. 1s on Dance/Club Play Songs between 1981 and 1991. Jackson matched the mark when “Scream,” with Janet Jackson, became his seventh topper in 1995.
Iglesias, Prince and the King of Pop can’t outrank the Queen of Pop, however, for most No. 1s among all artists in the chart’s archives. Madonna leads with 40 chart-topping titles on Dance/Club Play Songs. Janet Jackson ranks second with 19 trips to the top, followed by Mariah Carey and Kristine W, each with 15.
