FoxNews.com managed to grab Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon for a quick chat on the Academy Awards red carpet on Sunday night.

Mariah, in a navy Valentino gown, told us that “it feels fabulous” to walk the carpet.

Mm hm.

And of course, she never leaves home without her “best accessory,” husband Nick Cannon.

“I take five minutes to get ready,” Nick said.

No wonder he’s such a great accessory!

As far as the Oscars go, Mariah just hopes it leads to more people seeing “Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire.”

“I just want as many people as possible to see this movie,” she told Fox News. “I feel like it is such a work of art.”
