Mariah Carey will call in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” tomorrow to discuss her duet with Justin Bieber for “All I Want For Christmas Is You” which will be the release of his third single from his upcoming album “Under The Mistletoe.”

In addition, according to Ryan Seacrest, Mariah Carey will be releasing a deluxe edition of Merry Christmas II You!

Deluxe is usually two new tracks + media/poster, otherwise it is considered a new album for chart tracking…

This ‘delux addition’ may just include the new Bieber duet… or possible coincide with Bieber’s new christmas album and released as a double album (HIGHLY unlikely, but I remember reading something along those lines for the Australian release this year). HOPEFULLY, there will be a few new tracks on there for us but we shouldn’t get our hopes up just yet.

So my assumption in my last comment became true! I thought that the photo shoot was for the cover of MCIIY repackage version and its true. WOW! I bet her duet with Bieber is one of the added tracks that’s why she has been promoting it.

I do remember it being said last year that the ABC Christmas Special would be released. I suspect that if a deluxe version is on the way that this DVD will be included and the Mariah/Justin duet will be added too.

No, a re-release deluxe edition cannot fulfill a contract. It has to be either a new studio album and/or a compilation release which is often stipulated in the contract. Plus, she denies a move to Epic, so not sure why fans are still insisting on that rumor being true.

Mariah didn’t really deny the move. She just said that technically she is currently with Def Jam, but I do suspect that she plans to move. That other tweet she posted (with the ‘Epic’ play on words) was too suspecious.

fans are reading too much into tweets. IDJ will sue Mariah is she tried to exit early for a rival label.
