Rap Up Magazine: Mariah Carey is joining forces with Maybach Music Group. The pop diva has collaborated with Rick Ross and Meek Mill on her new single “Triumphant (Get ‘Em).”

The record, which was produced by Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox, will premiere early next month. Mariah linked up with Ross in April in Miami, and photos from their studio session surfaced online.

She took to Twitter to announce the news to her excited Lambs. “So I can finally announce to you that my new single is coming out early August!” tweeted Mariah. “It’s called TRIUMPHANT (Get ‘Em) ft. Rick Ross & Meek Mill.”

The singer, who will be honored at the BMI Urban Awards in September, penned the track during a tumultuous time. “I wrote TRIUMPHANT when I was going through a difficult time & it helped me get through it,” she said. “When u hear it, pay attention 2 the lyrics #WIN.”

Mariah previously collaborated with Rozay on the remix to her 2008 hit “Touch My Body” and is working on her 13th album, her first since giving birth to twins Monroe and Moroccan in April 2011.

XXL Magazine: An already hot summer for Rick Ross’s Maybach Music Group should be heating up even more.

That’s because two of MMG’s main MCs will be featured on one of the most popular artists in music history later this summer–none other than Mariah Carey.

“So I can finally announce to you that my new single is coming out early August,” Carey tweeted Saturday (July 21). “It’s called TRIUMPHANT (Get ’Em) ft. Rick Ross & Meek Mill. I wrote TRIUMPHANT when I was going through a difficult time & it helped me get through it. When u hear it, pay attention 2 the lyrics #WIN.”

Of course, MC is no stranger to hip-hop collaborations, counting the star-studded likes of Diddy, Ma$e, Jadakiss, Snoop Dogg and Cam’ron as just some of her many featured rap guests over the years as part of her illustrious career.

The news of Mariah Carey featuring Rozay and Meek on her comeback single should only signal a summer that keeps sizzling for the MMG camp.

Having already dropped their MMG Self Made, Vol. 2 collaborative album last month, Rozay’s highly-anticipated album, God Forgives, I Don’t is slated for a July 31 release. Then, Meek’s long-awaited Dreams and Nightmares debut LP is scheduled to be MMG’s summer closer due on August 28.

This collabo explains a picture of Ross and Mariah that surfaced on the net relatively recently.

Vibe Magazine: Carey is often credited with bridging the gap between pop and hip-hop and pioneering a new sub-genre, so this collaboration shouldn’t come as a surprise. Hopefully ‘Triumphant’ will reign supreme and Carey will receive her 19th #1, which has thus far eluded her.
