It seems the world won’t be happy until Mariah Carey pops out a little Mini-Mimi. The pop star is once again at the centre of pregnancy rumours.

The latest baby-bump speculation has been sparked by Carey’s abrupt withdrawal from Tyler Perry’s new movie.

Carey, who shook off the Glitter stank by appearing in last year’s acclaimed Precious, was set to star in Perry’s adaptation of Ntozake Shange’s 1975 play For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf. Filming was scheduled to begin next month, but Carey suddenly pulled out of the project on Tuesday, reports People.

When asked about the development, the 41-year-old’s rep told Us Weekly, “She is not doing the movie because her doctor advised her not to. More than that I cannot comment further.”
