Mariah Carey has revealed her and Nick Cannon might soon be hearing the pitter patter of tiny feet.

The superstar, 38, married the actor and rapper who is eleven years her junior, in April this year.

When asked when they planned to start a family Mariah said: “Maybe sometime soon, we’ll see.”

The singer also went into detail about how Cannon popped the question, presenting her with a huge diamond ring reportedly worth $2 million.

“He chose it it, he designed it with the pink diamonds around the edge. When he gave it to me he hid it inside a candy wrapper so I thought it was a candy ring,” she revealed.

Mariah said she will be spending Christmas, as she does every year, at her Aspen home because she can’t bear to miss out on the snow.

“I am Miss Festive of the whole world, I get depressed if I’m not with the white Christmas snow,” she said.

However her Christmas will not be a low key affair; Mariah spends her time in Aspen taking rides on an open topped, two horse sleigh and has her very own Christmas tree decorator.

“A decorator does my tree before I get to Aspen. It’s got butterflies, angels and it’s all decorated in gold and beautiful,” she told This Morning.
