Here’s Mariah Carey giving Eminem a taste of his own medicine.

She doesn’t often get an outing on these pages - but she deserves a bit of credit for biting back after the rapper famously claimed he dated her.

Mariah decked herself out in fake beard and tracksuit to play Slim Shady on the streets of New York in the video for her new single, Obsessed. It was directed by Hollywood hotshot Brett Ratner, who was last behind the brilliant X Men: The Last Stand.

On the track the songbird also labels Eminem “delusional” and “confused”. She has always denied they were ever an item.

The chorus states: “Why are you so obsessed with me/Boy I wanna know/Lying that you’re sexing me/When everybody knows it’s clear that you’re upset with me.”

Now, now children.
