The Voice: Mariah belongs to that ever-dwindling number of artists who will go platinum in 2008. Even her homey and regular collaborator Snoop Dogg is gonna have to settle for gold with (the very good) Ego Trippin’. Can you believe that? I’ll Be Loving You Long Time, a lovely mid tempo R’n'B tune, may just help her to go double platinum. If new hubby Nick Cannon ever needed some reassurance, then this seems to be it. And if her brief cameo appearance on You Don’t Mess With Zohan proves anything, it’s that plenty dudes be sweating Mariah. 4/5
Daily Record: The R&B superstar delivers up yet another classy slice of soulful pop that should keep her in gold leaf a little longer. 3/5
New Magazine: A breezy, summery tune from Mariah, who has swapped her vocal acrobatics for a more chilled sound. Nice. 3/5

Star: The diva may like to think we’ll be loving her new single for a long time, but we’re not convinced. This is another semi-upbeat, chilled R&B track with a summer feel to it. Exactly what you’d expect from Mimi, but it’s definitely not a classic. 3/5

oh man i just can’t believe it!! after all d hype and d huge success of d last album mimi.its another flop 4 MC. how did this happen? i know 4 sure d single choices wer poor but even soo not terrible. its seems der is another mariah backlash!! e=MC2 is not as gud but still decent!! its in no way modern enough 4 wat is popular at d moment. too old fashioned!! and now its im dat chick!!
