She looks great! I love it when shes thin

  2. joe Says:

Thin or no thin, it doesn’t matter. MC is MC. I love her for her!

  3. mclamb Says:

I was hoping MC would not play it safe this time on her album and that she would take risks.

  4. Jasper C Says:

    Mariah looks great!

  5. Mary Says:

She looks hot. Hopefully her and JD produce something good together. Their last couple of collaborations have been duds. I also agree with mclamb – I was hoping the same.

  6. Nora Aunor Says:

I want an album in the tradition of TEOM.
TEOM was simply a statement that a QUEEN
was about to come back roaring a=nd huge.
With the first single that says “I came to have a party….”

  7. Tom lloyd Says:

I can’t wait to hear the new music !! Bring on the new collaborations ! Well excited :) Lambs go hard

  8. Rachel Says:

I don’t think it’s fair for people to already have preconceived thoughts about the direction of the album with only a couple of pictures. Until we hear snippets or even the album, we shouldn’t judge. Right now I’m just so excited that we are getting a new album and she’ll be back by the summer :D

  9. Mary Says:

Nora Aunor, I COMPLETELY AGREE. That album was EPIC! What I loved most about the album (besides Mariah’s big vocals) was that it was quite a bit different from anything she had done before. I was so pleased she worked with ‘new’ producers/writers, like Darkchild (One+Only remix), Johnta Austin, The Neptunes, Kayne West…

But yeah. I’m still looking forward to her work with Jermaine. After all, they did produce ABMB, WBT and DFAU – three of my all time favourites.

  10. Haley Says:

SOOOOO excited :D .. I feel like they should switch up the single scheme too, like 1st single: BIG ballad, the return of the voice, 2nd single : Dance club banger for mid summer

  11. bei Says:

although some good music does come out of mariah and jd, this album is a make or break album, and she really needs to grab the public’s (not just the lambs’) attention in order for it to be a big success like TEOM, and the only way that’s gonna happen is if she thinks outside the box and does something unusual because the public the public doesn’t seem to be responding to her usual formulas anymore. and it’s gonna be even harder now because she’s in her forties competing with twenty-something year olds, she’s now a mother (so she’s lost some of her sex appeal which did help in the past), and she hasn’t had a hit in years. at a time when even popstars in their primes like beyonce and alicia keys are flopping, it’s really gonna something HUGE to get mariah back on top.

thankfully adele’s brought actual singing back to the mainstream, which definitely helps mariah now (as opposed to 2010 when it was all about generic guetta/gaga/kesha pop crap). she just needs to remind the world why they fell in love with her in the first place.

p.s. please none of that “charts don’t matter mariah’s got nothing to prove anymore she’s been around for over 20 years” bullsh*t that a lot of the fanatics tend to write in response to most comments, WE ALL WANNA SEE MARIAH ON TOP OF THE WORLD AGAIN and anyone who says they don’t care is a f*cking liar

    bei-

    I agree with you 110%

  13. Tobby Says:

If she worked with Walter A it would produce the greatest song ever and put her right back on top.

Real muscians equal real music equal classic songs.

  14. mclamb Says:

    Tobby-

Mariah will NEVER EVER work with Walter A again. He allegedly betrayed her. Time fans let it go.

  15. MCslays Says:

mclamb- Walter A. was credited on MCIIY , so they did in fact work together..

  16. MusicBox Says:

the only reason Walter was credited on MCIIY was because Mariah put O HOLY NIGHT on the album

all i can say is she betta work with someone else other than jermaine. He is so boring EXPAND YOUR HORIZONS MARIAH!

  17. mclamb Says:

    MCslays-

Mariah has not worked with Walter since 1997. He was only credited on MCIIY because of AIWFCIY and O Holy Night. That shows much much you know. Those songs were OLD so he had to legally be credited but you obviously don’t know much about MC’s career if you thought they collabed for MCIIY LOL Idiot!

She will NEVER work with him EVER again. He allegedly BETRAYED her!

  18. mclamb Says:

    MusicBox-

One thing holding Mariah back is how often she plays it safe by going back to JD over and over. It’s getting BORING for sure BUT we need to wait to hear the material before we really judge.

  19. Mary Says:

I remember seeing Mariah on tour in ’96 and I was completely blown away. She really gave it her all, with each performance sounding perfect. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see Mariah on tour again until ’09 and it was the biggest disappointment ever. Not only was she late (consequently meaning the show had to end early), but she sang badly and lipped 40% of the whole show….

The point I’m trying to make is that Mariah started off as musician, but is now a business woman. She reuses the same ideas because it sells. Only recently, however, have these recycled formulas become stagnant, which could mean Mariah is about to go and shock us all by bringing out something completely unexpected. Yes, she’s working with JD again, but who’s to say he’s not experimenting with his sound either?

    *Cue the hate*

  20. darnell Says:

I’m all for Mariah working with JD again just as long as he’s not doing most of the album like E=MC2. Maybe 2 or 3 songs by him and the rest with people she’s never worked with before like Rick Rubin(produced Don’t You Remember by Adele) or Max Martin(produced Teenage Dream by Katy Perry). I just want more variety from Mariah

  21. Damian Says:

Here go the lambs again, giving so many criticism and pessimism
for a music that has never even released yet. OMG.
If this is the attitude of the so called Lambs, its no wonder if this album will flop

  22. Bojan Says:

All I know is that our girl brings the best when the odds are against her.

  23. Gurl Says:

They think they know what’s best for Mariah pfft.

  24. Rude Boy Says:

    Gurl,
a 100% yeah…. some fans are really dreaming that they know the ins and outs of the music industry. Ridiculous!
