Nick Cannon Reveals Mariah Carey’s “Big Surprise”

Mariah Carey sure knows how to stir the pot.
The 39-year-old diva sent bloggers into a frenzy when she teased on the Oscars red carpet that she has “something special on the way.” Of course that means she’s preggers, right?
We caught up with Carey’s other half, Nick Cannon, who let us in on a little secret…
“It’s funny because the big surprise has to do with Home Shopping Network or something like that,” Cannon revealed at the Stars & Strikes Fundraiser supporting APCH at PINZ in Studio City. “She has a new product coming out. It has nothing to do with kids.”
Mimi may not have a bun in the oven just yet, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen soon. “We would have a beautiful baby, wouldn’t we?” Cannon said. “We’re laying the foundation right now. We just got a home out here and all that stuff, and Mariah just came off tour, so we’ll see what happens.”
In the meantime, the sexy songbird and her hubby are just enjoying married life. “What people don’t understand is Mariah has the funniest sense of humor ever,” Cannon gushed. “She’s hilarious. We always have a good time.”
We can only assume Cannon supports his “hilarious” wife’s dream to star in a Woody Allen film.

I have been a “lamb” since VOL — Like Mariah, I have a sense of humor and there is absolutely nothing wrong with a fan making a “fun” comment (especially when there is no ill will involved).

I was expecting something about music or movies… A new product… I really agree that it will be a shoe line … and that can be a great idea… she is an expert wearing good shoes… I love how she looks with those shows (liked shows of obsessed video and angels

it wouldn’t be clever to release the album the same week as usher’s new album, even though he isn’t exactly doing great at the moment he is still definitely gonna sell more than AA, seeing his album’s been pushed back for so long and has more anticipation and hype than AA at the moment..and anyway AA’s not even listed as a march 30 release on HDD so it’s probably not gonna happen

If there lay truth in the latest murmurings about Mariah Carey, things appear to be going from bad to worse for the diva. Reliable word has it that, in light of the disappointing performance of its singles, the 39 year old’s ‘Angel’s Advocate’ album has been shelved.
While Carey’s label, Island Def Jam, have yet to confirm or deny the speculation, the LP – which was a Target exclusive – has interestingly vanished from listings on the Target website, as well as Amazon where it was also featured as a download-only release. Additionally, despite being but a few weeks away from its announced release date of March 30th, no album cover nor promotional material for the record has surfaced.
The singer’s latest set-back comes comes on the heels of the poor performance of her ‘Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel’ LP, as well as the so-so success of her ‘Angel’s Advocate Tour’ – the box office scores of which saw particular dates struggle to fill 3000-seat arenas.

check the Billboard receipts for Angels Advocate. Other than some lower percentages in
Canadian venues, it looked pretty succesful to me.
I looked a number of times, and never saw it listed on the Target website.
It is still listed on Amazon, but no date is given. It was supposed to be a Target and iTunes
release, not Amazon.

It does seem odd though that we are 2.5 weeks away from AA release but there is no official tracklisting, which seems likely it will not be released March 30. I hope we hear something official either way.

My point above, was just to correct misinformation. She had a very good sell out rate considering the price of her tickets.
I think even Mariah is rather fed up with this project. I haven’t thought that any of the
remixes were a vast improvement on the originals, even though I do like INSEPARABLE
and CANDY BLING.

Dont believe in those rumors. Just take a look at the Billboard’s Box Report on the tour. If you would take the average, sell out rate is around 96-97%, which is excellent if you take into consideration the ticket rates.

Has anyone noticed on MC.com that her first page has been removed where it had the IDJ copyright at the bottom? Now it just goes to the main page. Maybe the rumors are correct about her leaving IDJ. I’m new to this forum and I’m not trying to start anything, I’m a admirer of Mariah’s music and would love it if she left IDJ.

Maybe her team is re-edited front page for AA. IIRC it also happened before Memoirs was released.
