   I felt Embarrassed for her, I love her but it was not the time nor place for that! She looked out of it and lost, It was as if she was not taking it seriously, I hope this negative press goes away fast!

    Mariah drinks socially as all prominent people in the world but never do CHEAP pot or any kind of stupid drugs for that matter!! I love her that evening, she is so human and that she was carried away by the excitement.

    She started the year perfectly. About negative media write ups? WHo cares, Mariah is not Mariah without the negative write ups, but as always they end up eating ashes. Go Mariah!

    Celebrities have human side the only only difference with Mariah is that she is not afraid of showing it and she is even more lovable by that. Who cares about the write ups of some detractors. She was accused of being high during her acceptance speech when getting the artist of the decade award cos she was so excited and rambling and that was 10 years ago.. 10 years later did that affect her career? No.. celebs have done alot worse at award shows to worry about a little drunking rambling.. i love drunk Mariah woooo!!

    Not a fan of the remix. Maybe I was expecting a different arrangement or a quicker tempo. Adding Ne-Yo to the song was not what I was expecting, honestly. Especially when I thought the original was beautiful in its own right.

    BUT… i hope this will attract members of the public who have not heard the original solo version. It is important for mariah to regain her position on radio again.

    I can’t believe anyone really cares about Mariah being drunk at an awards ceremony. I thought it was hillarious. I don’t know if any of you are from the U.K, but that kind of works here as it shows that you’re not a total fool, and that you’re still a real person. I thought it was hillarious, and the people talking about it on the pannel show Live From Studio Five ive just watched said they’ve never liked Mariah more as now they can relate to her. SHe is doing brilliant right now! Think the remix may grow on radio, but its nowhere near as good as the original. but then as lambs, would we think anything else?????

    Come on Indi. Are you kidding ? She was tipsy at a award ceremony. And then her dress was too long at the People’s Choice. Other than that, she had a wonderful acceptance speech yesterday. Other folks have done so much more stuff for people to get mad about. I hope as a fan of Mariah, you are not “put off” enough to support. Congrats Mariah on your two awards, and your album climbing the charts !!!!

    I’m not going to stop supporting her because she got drunk. I also will not censor my comments to appease fans. I like Mariah just as much as you do. I just wanted this year not to begin with negative press but it is what is is and awards wise I think this incident will cost her but she has also gotten positive award mentions too.

    Hate to say it guys, but indi is right. It’s stupid little stuff like her last couple of appearances that keep people from taking her seriously. We love her, sure, and always will, but big album sales and hit songs are achieved by not just her fans but the public at large. She blew two important appearances that would have generated great buzz by her silly antics!
