Mariah Carey Connection

Continuing on from Hot for 2010 – Music, 1Xtra looks at what will be the big movies of 2010 plus their favourite movies of 2009 and how artists like Ice Cube, Ludicris and Will Smith bridge that gap between recording artists and movie star.

Plus the chance to see one of R&B’s biggest stars Mariah Carey in a special screening of the much hyped movie Precious.

Lee Daniels’ Precious, based on the novel Push by Sapphire, is a vibrant, honest and resoundingly hopeful film about the human capacity to grow and overcome.

Due to the popularity of this film we are operating a random draw.

You can apply for a maximum of two tickets per household.

Applications will be accepted at any time until Sunday 24 January at 4pm. No applications will be accepted after this date and time.

Please note that the allocation process for tickets is geographically weighted as follows: 90% for London and the South East and 10% for the rest of the country.
