Ryan Seacrest offers to babysit for Mariah Carey

It’s a good week for Mariah as she’s confirmed on American Idol and bags a high profile babysitter.
Mariah Carey is one lucky lady this week, landing the coveted American Idol judging role AND bagging TV host Ryan Seacrest as a manny.
Ryan, who presents American Idol, was one of the first to celebrate Mariah’s news, tweeting to her and hubby Nick Cannon, “Welcome to the fam Mariah Carey!! When u and Nick Cannon need a date night, I’m happy to strap on the double baby bjorn.” Result!
Simon Cowell has reportedly considered Mariah for a spot on Idol before, but was keen to wait until she’d given birth, reports NYDailyNews.com.
We wonder if Ryan will launch his own Babies at Work scheme and have the twins on stage with him? You never know, Mariah’s superstar twins might be better than some of the contestants!
