I Hate it! the original is wayy better and some new vocals would had helped.
smh, I prefer her older remixes any day, its like she forgot how to remix a song! we all know she is the queen of remixes and these days she takes the lazy road and puts a rapper in it.

I love Mariah but this is awful. Sad to say, but I think Angels Advocate is going to flop harder than Mo’Nique into a pool filled with Jello!

No one has said congrats or anything about Precious winning all 5 awards it was up for at the Independent Spirit Awards. Congrats MC and the cast of Precious. It’s always so negative here.
The Ribbon remix is OK. Luda nails it! No sense us lamenting what could have been since AA is in the can and releasing.

Although I would prefer to have new vocals from Mariah!
I was wondering if it might be a better idea for Mariah to release the entire project as a deluxe edition of Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel. You know, like Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel – The Angel’s Advocate edition. I mean, it’s not a collection of new songs! Other than the H.A.T.E.U remix in which she redid parts of it, the rest of the songs are just basically “throw-in-a-rapper-into-the-original” kinda remixes. It should be part of a new edition of MOAIA, and not as an independent studio release!

I agree. It should not be a stand alone release but combined with Memoirs but it’s too late now. Angels Adovate sales won’t be counted with the original Memoirs. Thank IDJ for a dumb decision.

Mariah produces her albums and should have a say in what is done,
she wanted to release this remix album not IDJ Nor L.A. Reid.

i say she should get the hell outta IDJ, start fresh with DIFFERENT producers and co-writers, and release an album that will get her noticed again that has a totally different sound…sadly she is fading into the background and lady gaga is getting all the attention.

If us fans are already giving up Angels Advocate then someone at IDJ should get a wake-up call. By the way, how many albums was Mariah supposed to make for IDJ? i think she has a contract for 5 albums, that means Mariah is free to leave and that’s what she should do. And then make a strong comeback in a few years.

Her contract was for 3 albums, with an option for a 4th but we do not know if she re-signed since there was no press release. Angels Advocate is going to stink up the charts worse than a fat dude on a hot summer day.

She has released 4 albums under IDJ, which means it is high time she leaves the label which is just not treating her right at the moment.
And I hope IDJ people will read these boards here and reconsider re-releasing MOAIA under a new edition MOAIA: The Angels Advocate Edition.
